Ron Gilbert wants a car! Apparently Ron Gilbert got a little bitter around Christmastime because none of his fans sent him a car with a big ribbon and a sign saying "Thanks for Monkey Island". So someone decided, for whatever reason, to revive the Christmas spirit within.

  • Hmmf. Well, he's got about 200 bucks so far. That's 200 bucks more than I got.
  • I played a MI game once. The sword fighting system was based on insults and retorts. Monkeys and pirates, it was great.
  • One of The Great Games. IMO.
  • There's a reason MonkeyFilter is called MonkeyFilter.
  • I can't find the Monkey Island thread, although I know there's one back there somewhere. Are we talking nuke.php days?
  • Nah, all the nuked threads are back and have been for a couple of months. I vaguely remember one...sort of.
