How well do you know your anatomy?
For those with science geek tendencies, the Anatomiae images group pointed to this Smithsonian National Museum of American History quiz.
I got 7 out of 10, which is at least enough to maintain my geek cred.
-
Lousy four. But I got the liver right. Me and my liver are very well acquainted.
-
I got 8 out of 10. Thank god the large intestine is green.
-
7/10
-
7, but more because I'm a visual geek than a science geek. I'm good at compare and contrast.
-
I cheated and only got 5. What's with it being so small, anyway??
-
Hmmm, 7 out of 10, but some of the musle pictures were quite ambigious I thought... and small...
-
Monkeyfilter: Ambiguous Muscle.
-
8/10, but that's because I didn't see the correct choice for one of them... Silly thing.
-
8/10... also didn't see the correct choice for one (sneaky tricep).
-
10/10, good thing, I would have been very disappointed with myself if I had got less answers correct, after all I am a nurse.
-
Bunk. Try the BBC one for a better quiz.
-
A lot of the rollovers didn't work for me. There were a few where I obviously knew what part of the body was being shown, but when I rolled my mouse over that body part, nothing lit up.
-
Yeah, the muscles were the ones that got me, too.
-
I expected them to throw in the anconeus, or a gastroepiploic, or perhaps even the nucleus of the horizintal limb of the diagonal band of Broca. But oh, no, of course not, they'd rather "test" my anatomy knowledge with a tiny, referenceless thumbnail image taken off of a simulated model. Stupid quiz. 8/10. :|
