Want a wedding cake made of Legos? Who doesn't! While this is not the greatest use of Legos I've ever seen, it's still a pretty cool wedding type keep-sake.

See also older Monkey-threads on Lego Pr0n, Han Solo frozen in Lego, and Thriller Video in Lego. Is there another material so perfect for making reproductions of real objects using teensy little bits? Popsicle sticks are good, but not nearly so colorful and cool.

  • ya know, forget the wedding cake. can leggos make me a goddamn groom?? christ, talk about making real objects using teensy little bits.
  • Cool. Turns out that last September this guy was hired, and in his contract of employment it stipulated that he wanted a desk made out of LEGO. Also, Eiffel Tower and Mona Lego. The latter and other 2-D works of his based on photos are made as mosaics comprised of a limited number of lego tiles that come with designs on them.
  • This is a fantastic post. The guy's creations are great, I love the cake with the bits of cake you can use as wedding favours, and the Mona Lisa was terrific. But oh my god - that church in your other link? Well, it might be the most impressive thing I've ever seen out of LEGO, all those little LEGO people? Are freaking. me. out. Brr.
  • Not to blow my own trumpet (I'm not flexible enough), but Credit where Credit's Due

  • Sorry, Skrik -- I knew I'd seen that here, but when I searched I couldn't find the link! I'd offer to blow your horn, but that just sounds lewd.
  • Wow! Good link, roryk. I wish I had such talent. (and free time)
  • fuck yeah legos, they were awesome back in the day. remember the old pirate sets from the late 80's/ early 90's, those were awesome. i have a boner right now just thinking about Skull's Eye Schooner.
