  • Ooh - from Alnedra's link, the lovely town of Usk. We did a job round there years ago - it's classic counterpane countryside like a model for Tolkien's Shire and one of the churches in a village we stopped in had a full mediaeval rood screen carved by travelling Italian artists way back when that somehow managed to survive the iconoclasm of the Reformation and Civil War.
