Not just found cards. Cards submitted by readers. Looks like it's been around a while, but nothing turned up in the archive. Inspired by this.
  • "The card is made in Canada? It's got a bee on the card (who's about to be brained and kicked in the head by the joker)" The horror, the horror.
  • ... brained and kicked in the head ... Ach, ye have it all wrong. The Noble Bee is carrying a wee hyperactive joker on his back, tick, that's all.
  • Phew, bee- I recommend a quick roll manoeuvre, nevertheless.
  • patita, why does a person decide to collect cards found in the streets? I couldn't find any reason or explanation for it.
  • I love this website. I'm sure I've been here before, but this is the first time I bothered to really look around. The Japanese toys pages are a lot of fun, too. Thanks for the post Patita!
  • bees, I think one finds a playing card on the street and then is struck by the fact that there must be a whole playable deck just roaming around the cities of the world. There's something about the incompleteness of a single playing card that inspires? One guy sought his own, the other asked folks to send things in (increasing the humor factor). I'd had a similar idea after finding a page of Siddhartha... compose a book of bits found on the street.
  • Seems like ye could wander a long time trying to piece out a complete text of just about anything. Think I'd recommend starting with a haiku.
  • I've got that bee card. Though mine is from Ohio. Free give away at the casino.
