The "Kryptos" Sculpture,
Located near the CIA's new Headquarters in Langley, VA. This sculpture made by Jim Sanborn, the meaning of which is to represent CIA's work and purpose. Hides a message whitin it's 4 codes that still has to be revealed (realtively old but relevant).
You can find more famous unsolved codes and cyphers at Elonka Dunin's website.

You know, I've looked at dozens of pictures of this thing, and I only just now realized -- is it me, or does it look startlingly like the Windows™ logo?

A cigar is just a cigar but is it just a cigar?

Scartol: I think the windows logo is based on the swastika. The reason behind this seems to be that the technology for present day computers of course evolved from nazi technology, which the Americans aquired in WWII. If you'll notice the symbol (for windows) it has been turned about 15` counter clockwise, and has been superimposed on a flag. I was quite angry at this discovery at first, but it simply gives the history of the technology in that simple symbol.
