  • Das ist Blut! Sagen sie noch "Blut" in Deutschland? Gott, ich haben Deutsch damit vor langer Zeit studiert.. Und ich denke, dass das Deutsch ich mich macht Spaß, habe noch habe verspottet uns zum Benutzen veralteten Slangs getroffen. Art, von wie "Keen" oder "Swell" in den Staaten sagend.   • I never heard of "blood" as an exclamation, but it's been a long time.
  • It was all over our German textbooks, in dialogue boxes coming from mullet and denim clad Germans. I always assumed that it was wildly out-of-date, until I met some mullet and denim clad Germans, who made me wonder just how dated our texts were (although, they were certainly old in the mid-90s, when I was taking German. My girlfriend, who's a year younger and from the other side of the state, got new textbooks from the same series the year after I was done with German and says they were much better).
