Through the eye of a Mac browser
Deprived of a Mac? See how your site looks in Safari.

-

-
Heh, now you know what browser I used to make the site purty.
-
30 second wait my EYE. This is neat though! I'm a pc person and this will help my web development. Thanks!

Another handy tip: Safari's HTML rendering component is based off of the K Desktop Environment's HTML renderer: KHTML. Though fonts and sizings would vary between Linux and Mac OS X, you can get a general idea of any major structural breakage by checking a site in Konqueror under Linux.
-
Interesting, Pandemic: I'm generally a Linux user when not on my iBook (and sometimes when I am) and I'd never thought to try Konqueror. (Need the newest Mandrake release, though, just for the pretty anti-aliasing...)

[this is good]
-
Anybody seen deshead around recently?
-
Is it pronounced "Desh Ed"? Or "De shed"? This is important!
-
Not as important as, um, I'll get back to you in the next thread.
-
PayPal plans to block Safari and old browsers - this is interesting: PayPal will take a very proctive approach to online security, even at the risk of alienating some potential users.
