Eat plutonium death, disgusting alien scum!
Read the first ever appearance of D.R. & Quinch in 200AD, courtesy of the BBC. One of Alan Moore's quirkier creations.
An everyday story of casual violence, time travel and practical jokes. One of my favorite features to come out of 200AD. Mind the oranges...

I LOVE D.R. and Quinch. A couple of days ago I was overjoyed to discover my long lost copy of The Complete D.R. and Quinch.
-
Yep - normally I don't buy collections, just borrow thenm from libraries, but that's one I had to own...
-
Time to dig out that copy of the Totally Awesome Guide to Life then...
-
Alan Davis. Alan Moore. What a duo! I was majorly disappointed with Moore's latest work (Promethea) - which just didn't resonate with me. But it's still great to reread the DR&Quinch stuff - also one of the few collections which I own. something something oranges something.
-
Just noticed that they have misspelt Alan Davis' name as "Alan Davies" everywhere. How cool would a DR and Quinch movie be? (Could hollywood fuck up a duo who are *meant* to be mindless?)
-
In fact, even had I suspected then the truly horrifying suffering and amazing loss of life that would be caused by our well-meaning enterprise... ... I'd have done it anyway. Only more so. utterly classic - one of my favorite comics ever. this used to be one of my barometers for people - if they didn't find it funny, I didn't entirely trust them. lamearse - as long as it's animated, and not live action / CGI. I woke up in the Eaze-Clean...

Wasn't 200AD quite a long time ago?
-
You can still buy it today, but it's Golden Age was (arguably) during the 1980s.
-
See also you even commented in there, kitfisto...
-
that's me told, then.
-
The BBC is awesome. Can't really imagine any American media companies doing something like that.

Wasn't 200AD quite a long time ago? Even longer ago than 2000AD!
