The Somerville Gates
You may already know about this gates. But be assured that these works of art are no copies one from the other. They are quite different.. For those of you who will not be able to visit to New York (and live near Somerville), this is your chance... until the cleaning lady comes.

Hey! Zemat!
-
Hiya!
-
The other other gates...
-
"These gates were unveiled in a ceremony that was not attended by Joseph Curtatone, Mayor of Somerville, Massachusetts, on February 14, 2005." Heh. Do monkeys have any non-attendees at significant events in their own careers that they're particularly proud of?

-
Oops. Let me try again. *waves at Zemat*
-
Hey Zemat! In the city this fabric art is really neat--I'm not so fond of it in rural areas.
-
"Rural areas" like - Somerville?? Is this going to supplant the tired "Watergate" theme? Billy Bulger did not attend my high school graduation. Neither did Whitey. Neither did I.
-
Somerville has the highest population density of any city in the entire state of Massachusetts. It really isn't rural at all.
-
I love stuff like this ))))
-
There are Portuguese people in Somerville.
-
Glad to see ye back, Zemat! )))!!! These gates are the height of silly, so of course I like 'em a lot.

. . . in case you get nothing from the FPP link now (I didn't).
