Ottawa Meetup Pics Here are the Ottawa photos, as promised - only a few, unfortunately. If you follow the tags marked Metafilter, you'll see more photos from the other attendees (including marginally better photos of myself - I love you, tracicle, to put such a crappy one of myself up there in your shoutout!). We had a good turnout, 11 in total, with two dual citizens (myself, bonehead) and one outright Monkey (StoryBored). We missed mare and wished Rorschach had shown up with his mohawk.

  • I tagged them "monkeyfilter" as well, hope that works. I'm rather inept at flickr, but I try. And I just realized, I never mentioned that it was fun - duh. Yeah, we had a great time, particularly down on our end of the table with myself, my husband, StoryBored, pookzilla and menomena. Good times.
  • Ah, I would have loved to have attended, but it was my B-day and I had to be elsewhere. I hope there's another Ottawa meetup soon.
  • Didn't realize you were in Ottawa too, Jerry - sorry to have missed you! But happy birthday. :) I should make notes of everyone who lives in Ottawa/area, and try harder to get y'all to come next time. I'd do it again, maybe not too soon but in a few months or so.

I set 'em straight though.) Jerry, I think a spring meetup would be delightful. It was damn cold to be walking around last night. A nice warm evening on the patio would be perfect. :)
