also, i used to live close to this monstrosity, back in my tacky early-mid-90s middle school years. holy crap, the flashbacks... this, however, is well worth visiting.

I remember seeing the room where Abraham Lincoln died. There was a pillow on the bed with his bloodstains still on it. Looking for the above link, I discovered this site from an historical society that says strips from the bloody bedsheets were given as gifts to members of Lincoln's cabinet.
