Vibrate your way to health.
"Stronger. Faster. Smarter. Advanced vibration technology. Maximum results in minimum time: The 10-minute success!" (From the "Sometimes These Things Just Write Themselves" File.) Totally SFW; annoying Flash warning.

SFW, but featuring sound which may cause colleagues to crowd round and ask what you want with vibration technology... but I forgive you. Not wanting to derail immediately, but I've just noticed that this is your 268th FPP, SideDish. This means that at some stage recently, the dish surpassed the forks, meaning you now hold the yellow jersey as top poster!!! Congratulations! (sound of cheering, champagne corks, horde of mewling kittens, etc etc)

OH GOD IT HAS SOUND??? egads. oh my i just gush FPPs, don't i? heh.
-
good heavens, that IS quite the, um, music.
-
This Sidedish, it vibr... aw fuck it. Let's give Captain Obvious a day off. I'm going for the polka-dots as King of the Mountains.
-
Actually, I read something a while back that said that the reason cats have 9 lives is because their purring helps them heal much faster. Something about the vibrations caused by purring facilitate healing. Perhaps this idea isn't so nutty... It does make me want to research it a little and see if anyone else has drawn any such conclusions about vibrations and healing, particularly in humans.

there were these "foot massagers" at the maryland state fair last summer that cost 25 cents. after a few hours on my feet my legs were killing me so i plunked in a quarter and sat down. basically it vibrated the hell out of my legs -- but i'll be darned, at the end of about 60 seconds my legs felt totally refreshed, like i'd never been walking around at all. interesting.
-
I'm a massage therapy student right now and vibration does have very powerful physiological and therapeutic effects. The only way to get the most benefit from vibration is to use mechanical instruments. That's one area where human hands can't compete.

My wife is going to live forever!!!
-
What a great way to excercise.
-
I'm wondering if it was SideDish's legs that felt so refreshed.
-
HEY HEY HEY none of that now. heh.
-
This SideDish . . it vib . . oh hell. I have *got* to start getting up earlier.
