Burglary must be bad for your health. That 19 year old looks like he's 30.
-
Here's his website. He complains that the sentence should be longer. I think 11 months is a totally fair sentence.
-
...for a repeat offender, Mr. K? I'd say a guy who has already done time for this sort of thing twice before really should have been given a longer sentence. After a series of break-ins in our building I almost set up something similar in my office. I have an old Sun camera (don't know if it works), a linux box, and a LAN... Might be interesting to play with this guy's setup to see what I can do.

Owned!

He's well on his way to a lengthy career in burglary if they're only giving him 11 months for this after he's proven he's a "serial" thief. Harder time might deter him.
-
Just kill him and be done with it. Save messing.

The Daisy_May method of crime fighting cannot be overrated.

There's been a string of burglaries out where I live over the last 6 weeks, tool sheds, mom-n-pop stores, that kind of thing. Being as how there are no locks to turn on any of my doors, I'm sorta inclined to follow froggie baby's plan.
-
Quite a creepy looking fella. Who knows if harder time would deter him, but maybe community service, helping to fix burglarized homes would. I know several burglar victims who were terribly upset not at the loss of material goods but the loss of sentimental crap and the feeling of being safe inside ones own home, thieves had stolen things like a cross pendant received at confirmation and the relived themselves on the floor (yes, literally). Maybe if that Park guy gets to see what kind of upset he causes in exchange for stuff worth 40 quid, he'll rethink his career options.

"Hmmmm, I wonder what this thing is on top of the computer monitor?"
-
Here's a post from the victim on /. yesterday, giving some more details of the setup he used to catch the theif
-
I know a guy named Ben Park, so I instantly perked up seeing this one. I was simultaneously disappointed and relieved that it is not the same person...
