The Toymaker has some nifty, simple paper projects to print and assemble, like otters with wardrobe and dancing skeletons. Like the ghoulish? Maybe you could use a coffin box or perhaps a medieval helmet. For those with clear eyesight and a steady hand, try constructing New York landmarks like the Chrysler Building and the Brooklyn Bridge. Take your pick.

  • Thanks, everyone, glad you like it. I now have a half dozen little card stock boxy things sitting around, with more on the printer tray because, apparently, I don't have enough to do!
  • Great links, thank you. Those coffins will come in handy: I have a family member with cancer who has a very black sense of humour, and I know what I'll be making for him for his upcoming birthday. Now you've given me an idea I'll have to research, or maybe someone here can point me in the right direction. Are there any woodworking plans online for building a coffin? It doesn't have to be full-size, but that might make a great present for him, too.
  • Me lika da otters.
  • Sorry to hear it, coppermac. Hope he maintains his sense of humor- black is the best flavor! Simple plans with link to Do-it-yourself-coffins book. More plans.
