496 titles (75,365 pages) The collection is of international significance for researchers who study historical, cultural, social, and literary aspects of children's literature. More than half of the volumes collected here are unique among collections of children's literature elsewhere, whether in paper, microform, or digital format.

  • The project would have more value if they'd put up full PDF's of the books. After all many of the copyrights have expired. Does the work go into a time capsule or does one have to travel to Florida to see the results? Sorry, I have kind of a bug about big university projects whose fruits remain largely private.
  • CORRECTION -- Aha, this IS truly a great site! All I saw was "full citation" and "table of contents" and thought that's all we got, but "full citation" takes you to the full text. This definitely gets bookmarked... maybe my son can enjoy some of it when he gets a little older.
