No.

this appears to be about the latest shock-o-rama to hit the seething right of the usian blogowhatever. i'm not up to date on the details because these people really need to get over themselves and maybe take up an outdoor hobby. imagine if they spent their time on something useful.

roryk, Thank you for your loosely punctuated and poorly worded reply. I shall take your advice into consideration when posting in the future. Warmest regards, boo_radley

boo, i did not post a reply to you; i posted a comment upon the "satire" you linked to. it's a pity that my punctuation and choice of words failed to meet your clearly exacting requirements for a comment on a posting on the internet. i didn't offer you any direct advice; i merely pointed out that the "satire" you linked to is (a) obscure to me, (b) about a fringe issue, (c) chiefly of concern to the right wing of that sector of u.s. society that writes and reads blogs. if you're genuinely taking offense at my comment, you perhaps do need to get over yourself. cheers. it's a beautiful morning.

Two fine examples of polite if sarcastic disagreement. Civil discourse is marvellous thing.

oh shut up. orz.

Fuck you and the orz you rode in on! Certain humorous occasions demand that civil discourse be set aside

Damn. I thought this thread was really gonna be about "those awesome shortlived shows from the '70s?" "My World and Welcome To It" was my fave in that category. Based on Thurber cartoons, no less. Seems like a galaxy away when I view the swill that passes for entertainment on the boob toob now. When I stay in hotels that is, because I got rid of the glass anus in my own home.
-
orococo - yeah, that was why i read the post. i miss the shortlived shows of the 70s...
