Just nabbed this from Big Blue. What do rugger, bridges, and camels have in common? They're all part of a collection of old Christchurch photographs. Memorised the collection? Try the quiz!

  • Yeah, I saw this the other day and thought it was a good post, even leaving aside MoFi-specific reasons. They've got some beautiful old buildings there.
  • These glimpses of vanished times -- a great find, Alnedra.
  • Isn't the quality of some of the photos amazing? I love the old large format cameras.
  • Just being a smartarse - I did the quiz and got 7/10 - second try 8/10. But I haven't been there for over 20 years. I'm hoping Bashi will do much better. Many of those old buildings are still standing. The college is no longer used as a university site. Christchurch is still very much an Olde English Towne.
