  • You know what might have been better? Maybe something that didn't have so many cute little pictures on it. Sort of like a text-only list. Yeah. Like a google text ad kind of list. Pictures - even small pictures - kill bandwidth if you're on a limited access account. How many times does a popular weblog end up slashdotting or metafiltering or monkeyfiltering or farking a website? Wouldn't you think the bloggie awards folks would know about this sort of phenomenon and be prepared for it ahead of time? Anyway, I got in yesterday and voted. How much of the $20 do I get if we win? I've had my eye on a shiny new piece of Dubble Bubble brand chewing gum... I think they're still only one cent each... (Damn. 2785 members? That's not going to divide equally... I won't get a whole penny! Curse you, Dubble Bubble! So close, and yet so far away!)
