Comparing Apples and Oranges. See, that wasn't so hard.
  • You're totally missing the point. .
  • You know, I had no idea. So now what, apples and poop? Nipples and oranges? Apples and succotash? IT DOESN'T ROLL OFF THE TONGUE, DAMMIT.
  • How about your mom That rolls off the tongue pretty well.
  • This has bothered me for a long while. Round, edible, nutritious, fruit, grown on trees, discrete, ... why, they're almost identical. Apples and poop - now THAT's a metaphor I can work with.
  • Slow down, vitalorgnz. If it's apples and horse poop, that may not be as workable as you think. Horse poop is often called "road apples" and generally is round and green. Granny Smith apples are round and green. Both have a pungent odor and firm texture when ripe. Both can be tossed in the air and hit with a baseball bat. I'm sure you can continue to compare them. Now apples and rabbit turds are another story ....
