Man E-Bay auctions space on forehead for advertising tattoo
And how much would having that GE logo emblazoned in the small of YOUR back cost?
  • Cost? Why should anybody know who they're fucking?
  • A temporary tattoo? I thought tattoos were permenent things -- so how does this work?
  • "Andrew Fischer, from Omaha, Nebraska, said he would have a non-permanent logo or brand name tattooed on his head for 30 days" a non event... why was this even news???????
  • Because he's from Omaha, duh!
  • If we all pony up a quarter, we can make him put the mofi logo on his dome.
  • beeswacky: I guess that it doesn't work! After all, tattooing can cause scarring that is still visible after laser removal, so no matter how temporary the pigment, it's likely still to leave a mark. On the other hand, if by "tattoo" he means "adhesive label" or "marker pen", then yes, it could be temporary...
  • Maybe it'll be henna, or hanna, or however you spell it.
  • Hard-hearted Henna, the vemp from Sienna?
  • There are temporary tattoos, not exactly adhesive labels, but more like those plastic sheets of letters and symbols you can buy from stationery shops and scratch the text onto surfaces? The name escapes me for the moment.
  • It's things like this that make me wonder why I can make a large chunk of change fast. Although I don't doubt he will NOT make over $200,000 like the current bid suggests, but still. Have you seen his site? Because of the traffic he's charging $1400 for 7 days of advertising and 2 companies have bought into it! Alright monkeys, great minds need to come together on this one. Genial is broke and needs some dumbass genius idea to sell on ebay.
  • I already show around several logos all over me. Sometimes on my shirt, or on my jacket, on my footwear, on digital equipment... where's my check?
  • Is it letterpress, Alnedra? At least that mystery's solved -- thanks. Psst! Flagpole, I believe the trick is to get the money before ye put the logos on.
  • Alnedra: Those are generically "transfers", I think, though those temporary tattoos are more akin to the water transfers that come with plastic models (Airfix kits and the like) than the transfer lettering (Letraset) you can get in stationery shops.
  • Hmm. Monkeyfilter t-shirt: I pay $whatever. Monkeyfilter tattoo on forehead - tracicle pays me $1,400. *strokes chin thoughtfully*
