GI Joe vs the Zombies - Diorama battles. Choose Your Own Zombie Adventure, some zombie comedy, and a couple of zombie stories.

  • I actually read the whole thing. I thought I would quickly get bored. I also learned to never fight zombies in tight spaces.
  • I'm slightly disappointed by the final scene. I know that encounters w/ zombies rarely end well, but dammit, it seems they took the easy way out. Still very very cool!

  • the start of the story seemed like the rest might be pretty good but the start of the story also suggested that the zombie was going 32 mph and, well, I like my zombies slow and lumbering so I didn't pursue the story any further. but it looked like (my plot quibbles aside) it would be pretty solid.

  • IMUO the "speedies" from the Dawn of the Dead remake were a stupid idea that added absolutely nothing to zombie mythology. However, considering the main link is to a GI Joe diorama, it ended up working reasonably well here.
  • I'm glad people liked it. I'm not real big on fast zombies myself. It makes survival in the long term impossible. One of my favorite things about the original "...of the Dead" was that you could survive fairly well as long as you moved on before the shamblers had you surrounded.
