Surgical scrubs medical uniform tops offer a blend of Scripture and design with a Biblical theme allowing nurses, doctors, dentists and other healthcare professionals to wear and share their faith and address the spiritual needs of their patients.
  • Sexual scrubs medical uniform tops offer a blend of Sex and design with a Sexual theme allowing nurses, doctors, dentists and other healthcare professionals to wear and share their erotic interests and address the orgasmic needs of their patients.
  • So, what kind of biblical themes? Lot's wife getting turned into a pillar of salt? Deuteronomy 23:1?
  • I wish they'd just go back to those '50s-style nurse uniforms. You know the ones I'm talking about. The ones that they only use in pr0n now. Mrowr.
  • Two words. Captive audience. Also, "Tacky."
  • Oh Christ. As if the teddy bear prints weren't bad enough.
  • If they have Christian scrubs (and I'm flashing back to TLC here), they should have Jewish ones with little stars-of-David, and Muslim ones with Koranic verses (I'd pay actual money to see the reaction to those in your avrerage Midwestern ward), and of course pagan ones! (Link probably NSFW)
  • I understand people want to express their faith in the workplace, but as a prospective patient, I'd find that very offputting at a time when I'm vulnerable. How about a cross necklace instead? *remembers not running the well-meaning chaplain who showed up while I was waiting to go in for outpatient surgery one morning a couple of years ago out of the room with pride*
  • dear people: please stop pushing the jebus down my throat. i had a hard enough time swallowing the jebus in cracker form growing up as a young catholic. i don't need to have more jebus now that i'm an adult. thank you. sincerely, caution live frogs the jebus in wine form i somehow had an easier time with. go figure. :Þ
  • ..and saffron Buddhist ones of course... and Hindu ones, which will probably be the most aesthetic.
  • I'd love to see those two girls model for Victoria's Secret. BTW, are they real-life nurses or just average-nurse-looking professional models? A question worth investigating...
  • What difference does it make what they choose to wear? We have freedom of religion here right? So shouldn't we be tolerant of people displaying their faith. I think I'd be quite comfitted with a nice big Thou Shalt Not Kill emblazoned on some scrubs.
  • Or the Hippocratic oath version. Seems to me we need it more now than ever.
  • I approve.
  • Caution -- I enjoyed the mid mass snack but couldn't stand the taste of liquid jesus
  • I think these are a great idea. If I'm in need of a doctor/nurse/surgeon and I find her/him wearing these, I can instantly dismiss her/him and start looking for a sensible alternative. Only faith healers and other charlatans need wear this nonsense.
  • Denied! Next case! *bam!*
  • What Skrik said.
  • Hopefully we won't use the version of the hippocratic oath that prohibits abortions, right?
  • That version is known as the hypocritical oath, I believe.
  • I'm still waiting for my nurse to use her freedom of expression to "treat" me with no scrubs on at all.
  • O.R. they? ... just wanted to say that ...
  • As a RN in management, I think this is best left to the individual nurse to decide if these scripture scrubs are right for them. As long as colored and printed scrubs are permitted by facility policy. My clients/patients enjoy the variety and colors of the scrubs the nurses at our facility wear. Most wouldn't be offended by religious themes either. They certainly like my motorcycle themed scrubs, and my seasonal scrubs. If they have Christian scrubs (and I'm flashing back to TLC here), they should have Jewish ones with little stars-of-David, and Muslim ones with Koranic verses (I'd pay actual money to see the reaction to those in your average Midwestern ward), and of course pagan ones!posted by Pallas Athena I agree that scrubs representative of other religions besides Christianity should be available too. Yet most if not all facilities would draw the line at any design that is sexual or uses offensive language. :-)
  • Why not take it a step further and put ads on the scrubs. "About to have an operation? YOU NEED A LAWYER! Call Breyer, Souter and Stevens Law Offices ™ today. We specialize in medical malpractice. Ask your nurse for our flyer."
  • bratcat! motorcycle themed scrubs! i want you for my nurse.
  • Let's see this trend expand! I wanna see a fashion trend in which believers wear bible-verse clothing in all situations, in order to show holy they are. Then I don't have to waste a lot of time finding out that someone is a nut-case before blowing them off.
