Birds do it...
In South Africa, the Johannesburg zoo is going to artificially inseminate a pair of lesbian wattled cranes to help propagate the endagered species. Since the cranes are hard-wired for monogamy, the zookeepers decided they needed "to optimize the breeding potential."

I believe we should preserve the wattled cranes, but I'm not sure if creating a new generation of lesbian wattled cranes is the answer. Unh, what was the question? Seriously, good luck to the wattled cranes and their inseminators.

As long as they don't get married, I'm Ok with it. Allowing that would ruin the bird sanctuary of marriage.
