  • It is a great concept but I personally refuse to pay anyone money so I can volunteer for them or their efforts. I spent almost a year trying to find a cause in Central America that would let me just show up and give them my time without shelling out a couple of grand. I know these people need to be funded but hell, get the money from Soros or somebody and give us disenfranchised folks a shot at volunteering. Poor people are nice too. We just can't afford to be nice these days. /end crap tossing
