A project in Hong Kong to develop civil society I couldn't help but want to pass this little blog on to the rest of the world.

Many of you may not know about the rough and tumble world of Hong Kong, its struggle to realize real democracy and its life as a suzerainty of China. This blog showcases personal and political thoughts of residents of Hong Kong, mainland China and Taiwan, including some foreigners, as they are called.

  • Suzerainty is a word I heartily approve of. /applauds
  • and here I was thinking it was a kind of poem! Suzerain: n. 1. A nation that controls another nation in international affairs but allows it domestic sovereignty. 2. A feudal lord to whom fealty was due.
  • Gone were those days when people in Hong Kong was in high spirit... Alas! the fleeting joys of new Hong Kong.
