Playable Parody of King's Quest - called Peasant's Quest. Your objectives are to dress like a peasant, smell like a peasant, and be on fire like a peasant. Requires FLASH. From the people who brought you Homestar Runner which I despise. Via Nerdfilter
  • I just got up five minutes ago and am too sleepy to get into an old Kings Quest knockoff, but at first glance I have to say this looks pretty well done. Wonder why they went for the "1982" copyright. Or is it a port of an actual game that existed then?
  • It is a really fun game, we played it a while ago. Although, kind of hard. I'm not good at these games though. Hint: the baby is quite surprisingly useful.
  • Homestar Runner which I despise
Hooray! I'm not the only one!
  • You're both banninated.
  • That's ok, homestar runner loves you anyway.
  • Hey, Steve!
  • By which I mean, I've played this and it is indeed cool.
  • well sir... I liked it!
  • Makes me long for the days of text entry games. The illusion of a great number of options, but oh so quickly boiling down to the same three phrases... "use the baby" indeed.
  • Long no more. Interactive fiction is alive and well. (Try Baf's guide if you've never been there before.)
  • Thanks for the post, Clockwork. It's a fun little game. Has it taken everyone else forever to finish the archery challenge? I still haven't gotten 3 in a row, and am feeling very uncoordinated.
  • Nevermind, I got it. :o)
  • I suck at this. I can't even figure out how to ask the guy to PLAY the archery challenge. HELP ME!
  • The man he misses His long lost brother: haldo! "Use" items a lot. haiku courtesy Kingom of Loathing, where all hints come in haiku form :o)
  • here's a walk-thru if anyone is stuck.
  • I shouldn't cheat, but I am sooooo bad at adventure games... (I was beginning to wish Trogdor would just come and put me out of my wabdering aimlessly misery) That said, the juggling troop at my uni did their annual fireshow (nighttime display of hair-raising fire-juggling, breathing and generally throwing around) on a Trogdor and Peasant's Quest theme this year. It was extremely good. Nothing like seeing a one-armed Dragon breathing fire 12 feet into the air right in front of your eyes.
