What's this song? This is pretty cool. I'm surprised how many songs from my "favorite" bands I don't know. *Use the "Create own game in seconds" field on the upper right hand corner, as the default is random.

  • Got 10/10 for George Michael. Got halfway through the BeeGees before I got this message: "Hello Fark.com. Sorry it's such a rubbish database." Looks like it got Fark'd?

  • 10/10 for Depeche Mode. I'd say I'm such a product of the 80s, but they had a lot of the later DM stuff in the mix. why yes, I am sort of faux-gothy, wanna make something of it?
  • Can't play. Click on website in Firefox, it hijacks Kaffeine to play a song clip, which (if it doesn't crash the browser like it did the first time) identifies the song anyway so there's no point in guessing. Bah!

  • Fun in a nostalgia sense, but would it have killed them to make it a decent game? For example, they could total up the seconds it takes to get each one right. I mean, how can you not get these over the course of thirty seconds? They repeat the damn chorus in most of them! Even if I had never heard the damn songs, I could figure out the title by listening to the artist sing it within those thirty seconds! Otherwise, a great find.

  • When playing Pink Floyd, The game played "Money", from DSM, and then pinged me for picking it. Appearently the game thinks it's playing "Us and Them" instead.
  • Pixies was too easy, they kept using bits of the song that had the title in them. (OT: Saw the Pixies too, on the 28th, it kicked ass, and don't worry, I went nuts for Debaser. Heh.)

  • 10/10 for Suede, The Clash, Belle & Sebastian, and Roxy Music. Only 9/10 on David Bowie (damn you, Labyrinth Soundtrack!) and the Pet Shop Boys. Metallica - 5/10. Yay.
  • 10/10 Dead Kennedys. 10/10 John Coltrane. I tried nomeansno and Ornette Coleman first, but the music kept crapping out. I only got 5/10 for Lydia Lunch, and that killed my interest in this.
