Followup, George: I got my cats today!

You may remember, one of them has one eye and I was concerned about how much vision she'd have. She somehow, even through the most cloudy, discolored eye I have ever seen on an animal, is able to jump six feet in the air and land on ledges, chase a ball around the house, and do everything else you'd expect a year-old kitten to do. So I think I may not have anything to worry about, after all! Thanks to the monkeys who helped. :)

  • Well, kiss any kind of a "nermel" life good-bye now, Mel. YOU GOTS KATZ!!
  • Congratulations, mama cat musingmelomene!
  • Excellent... your house is alive now.
  • Enjoy 'em, musingmelpomone, and happy days to all.
  • excellent, meowsingmelpomone, enjoy all that good kitty love!
  • I and my overlords Kitty and Whitey Ford wish the three of you all the best.

  • Yaaaaaay! Kitties!
  • That's great!
  • Hey! I can chase a ball around the house, but you don't see anyone adoptin' me.
  • Speaking of cats, I'm not normally into ordinary covers, nor am I usually a lover of really cutesy film clips, but the new Fatboy Slim videoclip for his cover of Steve Miller Band's "The Joker" and has to be one of the cutest film clips ever. You can view it from the ABC's Broadband (That's the Australian Broadcasting Corporation) page, under "Rage on Demand". (it's also linked from this page in German) The clip was apparently done by a fan who won a contest.
  • Congratz on the catz!
  • PareidoliaticBoy: If you'll let me scritch you behind the ears and rub your belly while you purr, you can come right over. Of course, you'll have to take care of the mice, and I expect you to eat them all up and not leave parts scattered.
  • PB, that made me laugh, yes, out loud. musingmelpomene, congrats. I adore my three moggies, allergic though I may be (ghod bless Glaxo for Advair-it's the sheeit). May they bring you as much happiness as mine have brought me.
  • You've just taken your first step into a larger world! have fun. Mine make me laugh like a loon every day.
