West Coast Whiskeys A cool little article in the LA Times that details a renaissance of whiskey making here in California. Thought that my drinky-monkeys would find it of interest.
  • Yum
  • Only slightly related: Beer logos for your plastering pleasure.
  • Interesting article, squiddy, thanks. Have ye tried any of these yet?
  • No, not yet. Some of the bottles seem quite afforable so I'm sure that I will next time I get out to West LA's Wine House, which is BTW a great place for all kinds of spirits.
  • Wow, now where can I buy some? (shouldn't too hard considering I live a few miles from 3 of those breweries.) I've been sad that, as I am boycotting the south and all things I know of that are made there for the net 4 years, I had to switch from American whiskey to scotch. Granted I like a good scotch, but still I was sad.
  • When I saw a post titled "West Coast Whiskeys," I thought it was going to be another LA meetup thread.
