The latest survey of what Germans fear. Do other countries poll for this sort of stuff?

So, the environment, GM foods, crime, do not worry the Germans as much as before. Now they worry about retirement and all those non-Germans moving into the country. And car accidents. It seems to me that, like Americans, the Germans worry about what the media tells them to worry about. After a while the hype wears off, and they can focus on some other concern. Of course, this does not mean that the concerns of today are any less trivial or vital that those of last year.
