Paralyzed woman walks again after stem cell therapy
??? Zee bool-sheet detector is going off in my head, though I certain HOPE this is true.
Appears to be the same story in every media case that I looked at - and not picked up yet by any "major" media outlet. The "original" story is apparently here: The Korea Times.

Interesting, http://www.ananova.com/news/story/sm_510562.html (a story from a while ago about electrodes to help paralyzed to walk)
-
My BS detector when off too. Mostly because I saw the patient talking about her experience before and after. The questioning done, 'you sure you couldn't do X before'? and not much medical evidence to back it all up. I'd post a link to the video but MeFi is down atm.

Here's the video (103 MB .wmv).

You guys are all stupid. It's on the INTERNET, it HAS to be true... Like the MAVAV post I did earlier last week. Sure... some of you found "evidence" that the mavav.org website was a "hoax," but you're all wrong and stupid!!!! BWAAAAA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!! I win 'cuz I said so
