"Do not be alarmed if monkeys get in the bath with you."
  • Ok, so the monkey picture turns me into a 12-year-old girl. Awwwwww...
  • alarmed?!?? i'd be more like...ECSTATIC!
  • For more of these awesome monkeys, and also what I have called in the past "the perfect movie", check out Baraka, by Ron Fricke. It's pure bliss. And has snow monkeys.
  • Did someone say monkey pictures? The monkeys in Jigokudani are cute and cool to look at when they're in the tub, but you really have to be careful of them as they will bite. They will also take your stuff and either throw it in the river, the monkey-hot-tub, or run off with it in to the woods. The monkeys usually stay in their own tub but sometimes do get in the people tub, especially early in the morning. And as they are monkeys they're not shy about pooping in the tub. That said, there's not much else in Japan that can compete with monkey hot tub. meredithea, does your transformation go something like this?
  • mexican: pretty much! :)
  • There are few phrases in the English language finer than "monkey hot tub." We need a rock band named Monkey Hot Tub.
  • Wonderful snow monkey pictures! Superb!
  • *blows whistle All you Monkeys, outta the tub!
  • monkeys in the bath are in the bath are in the bath ... each one desperate to get out by stepping on its neighbour's ear or snout
  • each one desperate to get in before the nips of winter in Japan begin o to sit warm while icicles form
  • Monkeys, Monkeys, in the bath washing all their ears Monkeys, Monkeys, in the bath scrubbing down their rears Monkeys, Monkeys, in the bath scrubbing dirty knees Monkeys Monkeys in the bath soaping up in threes Monkeys, Monkeys, in the bath wash out your stinky socks Monkeys, Monkeys, in the bath wipe up the floor when you're done.
