Musipedia, inspired by, but not connected with, Wikipedia. The nice thing is that you can search for a tune by whistling it.

  • The search by whistling function doesn't seem to be friendly to a mac using Safari.. :(
  • Nor to somebody who, despite trying lots, can't whistle :( Seriously though, I can't whistle. Am I a freak?
  • I can whistle, and sing. But it doesn't seem to be very good at analysing the note structure of my tunes.
  • Drat, there's a 70s instrumental disco song I'm still trying to identify.
