"A time to heal,
in which the author issues a few heartfelt political apologies."
Despite being horribly tired of politics, this made me laugh.
-
That made me happy. Thanks.
-
that's a lovely way to wrap up the election season. i was a very active and very opinionated dem for the last few months before the election, but now i feel as if a great weight has been lifted from my chest.
-
Nice.
-
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
-
hehe
-
I would like to apologize to Karl Rove for suggesting that he [...] listens exclusively to Kenny G. Heh heh...
-
I would like to apologize to Fox News for referring to its esteemed media operation as the Goebbels Channel. Fabulous! Thanks nil!
-
I would like to apologize to GWB for referring to him as a "greedy little fuckup with no regard for human life." I would also like to apologize to dick cheney for claiming that he is, in fact, the dark lord voldemort in (a lousy) disguise. Come on and join in, it's fun.
-
oh god that's a riot. thank you so much! that did indeed feel like a perfect -30- to the election. ( -30- = old-timey journalese for "the end")
-
I would like to apologize to John Ashcroft for calling him a "Crisco-annointed, mouth-breathing wacko fundy-fucktard." Damn, that DOES feel good!
-
I herby apologize to those members of, and adherents to the platform of, the Republican party - for calling them ignoble cloven-hooved anus-munching fuckwits covered in the blood of the innocent and the cash of the stupid. Those remarks were made in error, and will be removed from the senate record. Additionally, at this time please confer my apologies to G.W. Bush for the unfortunate typographical errors that resulted in his character being maligned as "too dumb to breathe without Cheney's dick in his mouth". These have been corrected and will not be seen again.

Steve Almond's a pretty good writer. I read "My Life In Heavy Metal" earlier this year, and enjoyed the hell out of it. He's not the only Steve who's sorry.
-
Hee hee. Good one, nil.
-
Glad you all liked it. Thanks for the extended remix. ;D

Why do I keep reading the title as "A Time To Heel"?
