Old school links for anarchists... These text files reflect something between Anarchist cookbook and Abbie Hoffman's "Steal This Book" WARNING: I suggest that anyone opening these files in the USA (or CANADA, yes Canada too) may soon get a knock at the door.
  • Got a 404 when I clicked on it. Is big brother *that* stealthy?
  • No, I don't think it's an actual link. It goes to http://monkeyfilter.com/Dangerous%20to%20read%20in%20USA%20%20AND%20Canada
  • You didn't mean to link to http://www.textfiles.com/anarchy/ now did you?
  • Anarchists are all into broken links. That's their kink.
  • OK, nothing to see here. Move along. /faint helicopter sound overhead
  • ooops - I guess I'll REMOVE myself from this community before -Nostrildamus- calls "strike three!!!" ...that's all. I'll watch from the sidelines.
  • Knew about the weirdness of the Patriot Act here while ago (used to work with one of the advocates who worked on the Privacy Comissioners report). To be fair this applies only to British Columbians and not the rest of the country. Amendments to the law have already gone through their third reading in the BC legislature and that bit of legal weirdness wont apply to us soon. Never seen government move so fast on an issue like they did with this.
  • I guess I'll REMOVE myself from this community Hey, don't be silly. Just learn to use preview. Problem solvered.
  • samlam: seriously, did you intend to link to textfiles.com, or some other site I don't know about?
  • Boy in court on terror charges Just owning the "Anarchists' Cookbook" is a crime? WTF?
  • That is fucking ridiculous.
  • Yup, Constitution? Bill of Rights? That's what the Bush gang use to wipe their @sses. Get ready to tell your grandkids about this thing we used to have called Freedom. It was nice, but short-lived. It's amazing what eight years have wrought. Who would have thought that in that time we'd see government sanctioned torture, a legislated and sacrosanct private army of mercenaries, limited free speech, a revoked right to lawful assembly, government spying on private citizens, indefinite imprisonment without representation, and restricted access to any and all information randomly deemed to be not in the best interest of the public = BushCo. Daddy wasn't sure at the start, but he's proud of his son now. Young George has created a dynasty.
