Whatcha gonna do, do you wanna get down?
This really makes me long for the days when even Ponch and John were getting down.
-
With special guest star Leif Garrett!
-
Anyone remember the episode of CHiPs when Ponch & John delivered a baby on the disco floor?
-
Ponch is so much cooler than Leif Garrett. So much. *falls in love all over again, just like when I was four*

Ah, roller-disco. Would you believe that in the late 70s and early 80s my elementary school used to take us on field trips to roller-arenas? Huge warehouse spaces with wooden rinks and super sound systems pumping out the chart-topping singles from the Bee-Gees, Blondie and Foreigner. Those were the days. Permission forms, Pepsi and Pop Rocks, spinning coloured lights and dangerous cliques of skinny giggling girls in short shorts. Good times, good times.

Went to get some love, but he's a gas No time now, try heart of glass (From K-Tel's Bathroom on the Right album)

dj riley more is the bomb! I heard her spinning last night (of all things...the new blondie) at BFD, which is short for Big Fat Dick, by which they mean a portly gentleman named Richard. what? what were you thinking? anyway, if she's spinning, I'm THERE! any other angelenos wanna make a monkey night of it? just wear a monkey on your lapel! then talk to anyone with a monkey on theirs! (please make sure all monkeys have had their shots)

Dear Mister President Jesus George, please make disco never be spoken of again. Amen.

"Would you believe that in the late 70s and early 80s my elementary school used to take us on field trips to roller-arenas?" Oh I believe it allright. We were subjected to the same...I can still remember the day my hand was rolled over by a not so dainty classmate. I have chills running up and down my spine remembering the nauseating food, music, skating, and video games. If Proust were born in the 1970's he would have had a novel triggered by the somatic combination of playing Tempest, drinking RC-Cola, eating a slice of bad pizza, and listening to the popular kids thunderously roll-by to the beat of Kool and the Gang

Would you believe that in the late 70s and early 80s my elementary school used to take us on field trips to roller-arenas? Phys. Ed. (gym class) once a week was a trip to the roller skating rink. To this day, I think of disco music as good stuff to work out to.
