FrenchFilter!
Koant's newest venture.
-
Hee hee! They're talkin' funny talk!
-
Pardon my freedom.
-
Some interesting links here, Koant, thanks. Aventure!
-
Mon Dieu. C'est magnifique ...

Who's user number 10?
-
How do you say "freedom fries" in French?
-
tracicle: Can we come up and have a look? Frenchfilterian: Of course not. You're English types. tracicle: What are you then? Frenchfilterian: I'm French. Why do you think I have this outrageous accent, you silly monkeybashi? tracicle: What are you doing using Metaphilter? Frenchfilterian: Mind your own business.
-
Alnedra: I am. On madamemartin.
-
I'm for it. Usager no. 14.
-
Well, if could read French, I'd be right alongside this idea. Alas, mon dieu, I do not.
-
Did you realize that the drunker you get, the more 'francophile' starts looking like 'fæcophile'? Time for another pony of liqueur. *hic*
-
Fetchez la vache!
-
I am. On madamemartin. *L'ampoule allume*

#17! I'm way to paranoid about my French writing skills to post anything, but it's definitely on my daily reading list. Great idea, Koant. And thanks for the link, Tracicle - you post here enough, you should do something like this, but in English!
-
Hey, that's a cool idea, the meh. I woudn't know where to start, though. Would someone link it for me? Here, maybe? :)
-
Tracicle: Try this site as a reference, if you're serious about starting something like this. They've got a pretty good community, and a charming host.
-
Very nice looking site, koant.
-
Wow thank you Tracicle and thank you everyone for your kind words ! And a very warm welcome to those who joined us ! We look forward to your posts; don't be shy - I'm sure your French is fine ! And for the record: technically, the only thing that MadameMartin and Monkeyfilter (and metaphilter) have in common the css style sheet; I've coded the whole engine from scratch. But otherwise, of course, Monkeyfilter is all over the place and Tracicle duly thanked.

What's the deal with the title, Koant? Is that like l'homme lambda?
-
yes that's it Wolof, although the whole story of how the name came about years ago is a wee bit more complex.
