  • Additionally, a favorite subject of mine, the NYC subway system's ghost stations.
  • Mike over at Satans Laundromat has some excellent pics of the abandoned stations in his archives.
  • Forgotten New York is a goldmine if you're interested in New York City subways. Or lampposts. Or ghost ads. Or cemeteries. Or the streets themselves. Or practically anything, for that matter. I think I've read every word on the site by now; fascinating stuff.
  • aren't subways great? d.c.'s seems like a baby subway compared to NYC. and of course paris' is one of the coolest. *hearts riding beneath the earth's surface*
