Undead Art -- take the now public domain Night of the Living Dead and splice it up with other zombie movies to make a remixed halloween classic via elykcooks
  • Just as an FYI, Night of the Living Dead has been in the public domain since the day it was first shown because of a technicality in which they forgot to place a copyright notice on the film (due to having to change the name of the film at the last minute from "Night of the Flesh Eaters" because that name had already been used).
  • thanks for the curio jccalhoun
  • "Johnny has the keys. Johnny has the keys. Johnny has the keys."
  • Now I know how it feels to be an art snob. I hate this idea. Give me the original without any of the Anniversary edition changes, on a pristine DVD like this one and a bucket of popcorn and I'm all set. No need for any changes or remixes.
  • In the future, please don't self-link in the FPP. From the FAQ: Self linking isn't cool, kiddies, and we've disallowed self-links as the main link in posts. As a secondary link, or a link in a comment, it's fine. But we don't want to see you linking to your blog right up there on the front page, okay? This is where I'd link to a review I did while back of The Zombie Survival Guide in order to explain my irrational fear of zombies, if I could do so without seeming like a big hypocrite.
  • Portraits as Living Deads. Artist Frederik Peeters makes portraits based on what dead celebrities would look like if they came back as zombies.
