Mosh - Eminem joins the ABB (anybody but Bush) crowd. Not playing on a TV near you.
  • Dang, already up on the Big Blue...
  • Thanks. Is this already on MTV?
  • Pretty angry stuff. Surprised his label let him get away with the clip with the knife and photograph.
  • Pandagon, quoting Joshua Bearman claims that MTV doesn't want to air it. (so ummm...a belated Via Pandagon and Josh Bearman) I wasn't that surprised by the anger, he's always seemed like a pretty angry guy to me. I was however surprised that he follows politics in any way...
  • Thanks for the via, it contained a link to vote at MTV.com to play it on one of their shows. You have to fill in the values, the song isn't on the list. But they seem to encourage multiple voting. I don't think MTV would back out of playing it if it was voted in. It'd hurt them in the long run.
  • I was however surprised that he follows politics in any way... I'm not. For a guy who makes his money using his freedom of speech in controversial ways, it makes sense that he would.
  • The ringleader of this circus of worthless pawns/ Sent to lead the march right up to the steps of Congress/ and piss on the lawns of the White House/ To burn the flag and replace it with a Parental Advisory sticker/ To spit liquor in the faces of this democracy of hypocrisy / Fuck you Ms. Cheney! Fuck you Tipper Gore! Fuck you with the free-est of speech this Divided States of Embarassment will allow me to have "White America" (Eminem from a few years back)
  • Just watched the video- not Em's greatest song musically but it is powerful. I think it's great that he did this- I watched Springsteen's "Concert for Change" or whatever on TV and I enjoyed it but frankly, those artists are not that relevant to most kids under 25. I wish they would've had Eminem on there.
  • For the record, are you saying that Eminem is relevant to kids under 25?
  • Me likey.
  • Wow. That's a good video.
  • Another great anti-Bush music video, from Skinny Puppy spin-off Ohgr: Majik.
