Man run out of his house by rabbits. Critters this cute are also a scourge in Australia.

interesting to note that this isn't counted as animal hoarding, since the man didn't collect the animals himself.

  • i remember flipping channels long ago when one still could and trying to channel back to what i thought was brown water flooding through a door hipdeep past the man standing there it was mice lots of mice cats were on stools freaking out as they leapt like popcorn a shot of a field was like watching locust smarm in and out of the tall grass sorry, australia let me know before the twelfth plague hits
  • I have seen a hillside that appeared to be covered in browned-off grass suddenly become agitated as an eagle flew overhead. Particles of the surface of the hill seemed to scatter in all directions, revealing that there was no grass at all beneath, only bare dirt. The moving particles were brown rabbits. Several thousand of them.
  • Well, I'm tempted to say that's what he gets for not doing something to stop them from breeding... but really, that would be awful. Is "he was embarrassed enough" really legal grounds to withhold someone's name? I'm going to have to remember that...
  • Bunnies aren't just cute like everyone supposes. They have them hopping legs and twitchy little noses. And what's with all the carrots? What do they need such good eyesight for anyways?
  • Actually, if you feed them too many carrots, it is pretty bad for them.
  • The whole idea about people having pets is that the people, alledgedly brainier and smarter, be aware of potential problems to do with the pet BEFORE they start. Books are good. Asking questions also good. Thinking is very helpful. Letting two rabbits multiply into 73 because you've let them run loose is NOT GOOD enough. Will no one think of the incest!
  • There's nothing we can't face...except for bunnies.
  • Books are good. Asking questions also good. Thinking is very helpful. Well, that settles it. Now I'm not going to have kids.
  • Mmmm, bunnies. Braised, until it falls off the bone, with a nice brown gravy made fron the pan drippings, served over noodles....
  • Reminds me of Bishop Brennan...
  • Missed a great opportunity to have some supper ...
  • I'm so proud of you monkeys. 2 days now and no-one's even mentioned Bernd.
  • Yes, Nostril, bunnies have really sharp claws and very strong back legs, and are easily startled, which is when they use those back claws when you're trying to cuddle them. Makes it much harder to think of them as childhood book denisons.
  • Hicinbaby, chicken-fried isn't bad either. And think about those lovely soft gloves.
  • Fried? Really? It would never have occurred to me. All those short little muscles, I'd expect them to be tough when fried. And the bones... all that lovely gelatin just going to waste if you don't cook it out. Oh my. Hicinbaby is on a semi-diet and shouldn't be thinking about such things.
  • My GramMa used to fry them slowly, s l o w l y, and they were 'lichesss.
