Curious George: Open your own online pharmacy! A friend called to ask me what he should think of this. They telemarketed him and so my suspicions are high. Looks from the graphic on the home page like it is a MLM scheme, which means STAY AWAY.

He just emailed me the link a bit ago, but when I put "Open your own online pharmacy" into Google, I get a LOT of domain names, so either they may be operating under multiple names or these are people who are already part of the MLM. Anybody give me any firm info that I can pass along to my friend to warn him off?

  • it's clearly identifying itself as an MLM scheme. you can point your friend to MatrixWatch to get more info on why things like this are bad, as well as tracking new schemes.
  • Do they include that valuable Mega-Spam Plan? You can't make money if you can't advertise your "Cheap Viagara" and "No-Presciption Xanax 9958382".
  • 1. The terms & conditions are 404. 2. You only get 50% of profit, not gross, and they add a ridiculous ($18) shipping fee on top of their "wholesale cost." I don't think you'll be able to be very competitive. 3. If you submit your form it doesn't even check for empty fields. Sloppy work. In any case, I wouldn't be surprised if they (later in the process) ask for a few hundred in "start-up fees."
  • I like how at first, the drugs are free...
  • If someone contacts YOU about starting a business, then the only business they are in is ripping people off. If someone has a really great business, they will be beating people off with a stick, not trying to recruit them.
  • Yeah, what jccalhoun said.
