  • That's very interesting. I happened to hit "best-of lists" for '95 and '98 first off and immediately read his peans to Alanis Morissette and Tori Amos. I was pleasantly surprised to find a few of the more obscure artists I have watched over the years (e.g. Emm Gryner) get significant mention. And I love the chronological top-100 album/song lists. In the age of P2P these kinds of wide ranging reviews/reflections and lists can start many a love affair between a previously unheard artist and a curious listener. Refreshingly positive, encouraging and very enthusiastic music writing looking back a long ways. And certainly lots and lots and lots to read. :-) Thanks for the link.
