A guide to snowflakes
  • I'm so glad I'm no longer live n a place where snow flakes are an issue. (California native who spent time in those places where they haven't figured out how to keep snow out of the way of anyone who isn't snowboarding.)
  • ooooh, let's make a snowflake!
  • Thanks BlueHorse! That's cool fun. :-)
  • Think I enjoy being in a place where snowflakes are an issue from time to time, Path, because I relish the transformation a snowfall makes of landscapes or of objexcts I've got too used to seeing. Whenever I've lived in California or the desert, I've missed the winter-bite in the air, and the snow and the different ways the outsoors smells as seasons change.
  • You know what? This site is really, really interesting. I had no idea that snowflakes were so... um... cool.
  • I want to make some ice spikes.
  • Snowflakes flurry, and people hurry Home, where it is warm. I walk alone, slowing To watch snowflakes flowing Criss-cross dancing in silent calm. The iron-grey sky says, “Stay, And I shall make winter days Like this for you each year.” This promise only I hear. Shall I say aye or nay?
  • You promised me roses And songs in the spring; Moonlit dancing, And wild horses riding. You promised me winters White, silent and cold; Windy autumns, Rich in colours bold. You promised me oceans Wide and ripe for sailing; Secret treasure holds, And pirate kings. But what I asked for, You could not bestow. Your quiet smile each day, Your warm embrace, Your sleeping face each night. I'll take your ships And steer them west. Aboard are roses, And sleeping horses; Winter's snow And autumn's wine-like light. Summer breezes And other treasure fill My pirates' holds As I search the world For you.
  • )))!!!
  • what bees said
  • Lovely, Alnedra.
  • Well, it's just canine lowly speaking, if you know what I mean. Certainly not much compared to what beeswacky regularly pens (^_^) Would "pen" be appropriate for online posting? Hmmm.... But thank you all kindly!
  • Glorious, Alnedra! Encore!
