The Blimp Painter. In 1994, to promote a tour, Pink Floyd sponsored a pair of artblimps, one in Europe, one in the U.S. Burton Dodge painted the now-lost U.S. ship, and has many more under his belt as well. Apparently, the blimps made an impression.
  • is that a painted airship under your belt, or are you just glad to see me? heh. how cool! we must have the official mofi blimp brightly painted with sprightly monkeys.
  • hey - did this guy paint the blimps by himself? That's fairly impressive.
  • It's not clear to me. He was a sign painter who transitioned into blimp painting, so it's quite possible.

A storm blew through, the pig tore loose and sailed across the city. I always wondered how many people checked themselves in or went on the wagon that day.
