Art and UFOs? No thanks, only art...

Only 3 pages out of 6 are translated in English, unfortunately, but the pictures may be self-explanatory enough to make the point. Entire site available in Italian or French. Some bits in Portuguese as well.

  • It's cultural and educational, but still talks about cool stuff like aliens (or the lack thereof) - it's a perfect link! Many )s!
  • Uh, if something is Unidentified, then you can't say that it is *not* something, definitively. It's unidentified. Therefore, who knows what Giotto painted. Or whatever.
  • Therefore, who knows what Giotto painted Speaks for itself, really.
  • >Uh, if something is Unidentified, then you can't say that it is *not* something, definitively. Have you actually clicked on the link ? They show you these things are indentified, that's the whole point.
  • Great link, taking down some popular internet nonsense with a bit (OK, quite a bit) of research. I am going to use this in a historic methods class I am teaching as an example of the perils of trying to interpret historic images without understanding the context of the times. Thanks Koant!
