Bone- I once asked my grandmother a question I wanted to know why God allows evil people to prosper She told me that God isn't the only one To give people rewards and gifts The devil also takes care of his own

The above comment was by my 11-year old. A new generation, I hope? I wanna be sedated and be buried in a pet sematary!

I saw the Ramones years ago when I was a teenager. I was pushed up against the stage, practically under Johnny's nose. A girl close to me started to undo his shoelace. He clued in mid-song and didn't miss a beat, just wound up and kicked her one in the face and kept playing.

But seriously, as an old punk, this makes me feel ancient. I remember when the Ramones got big, and I was chased around by security at a concert because Joey recognized me from a previous small get-together at some alternative art show, and he was posing for my instamatic pics. Met these guys, and they were all cool. The pogo kings. Or you could just twitch, whatever.

Sweet Mothra -- the Ramones are turning out to be the Kennedys of Rock. Everything they touch turns to tragedy. Rest easy, Linda.

You know there's a curse on your band when fictional serial killers are wearing your t-shirt.
-
Look, they're punks. That's the way it's supposed to go, baby.
