The worst marketing strategy. Or maybe the best...? This is my first link. Be gentle! What kind of marketing manager do you think would have come up with the idea for that packet of peanuts?

  • In Oz for at least a decade there's been a marketing campaign for a brand of peanuts that runs "let's nibble nobby's nuts".
  • That's somewhat disturbing. Perhaps Peanut Marketing Managers play by different rules? Just noticed a post maligning self-linking. Apologies. Hopefully this won't quite apply, what with the genuinely amusing peanut-scan. Apologies if I've stepped a bridge too far.
  • In light of the content, unlike the previous lameass poster, I'm tempted to forgive you on this one. That was hilarious. However, don't do it again.
  • how about this -- the Pagoda Groundnut site itself, including video commerical! as to the campaign itself, well, the site claims some actual benefit to eating younger nuts but there is something unsettling about the young boys frolicking on the package.

  • In germany there is a brand of peanuts called "Happy Nuts". It definitely sold the product to a few people I knew.
  • I recently pointed out a somewhat questionable image on a recent TV commercial on my blog, but I didn't post it on the front page of the MoFi.
