Welcome to the Needlepoint Museum
  • Utterly hideous. Thanks.
  • I somehow find these mesmorising. When I think of the number of hours that went into creating this I am just astounded. And the needlepoint quasi-art-porn leaves me at a loss for words.
  • I would like to make the statement that GramMa does NOT do needlepoint. Thank you.
  • My wife does *fantastic* needlepoint. It was also a hobby of Luis Bu
  • Not even dirty needlepoint?
  • I was once sitting outside a friend's house, doing needlepoint. Said house happened to be on a lakeshore, and the sun was just beginning to set (very pretty). A guy walked up behind me, and watched me for a few minutes until he interrupted me to ask if I was embroidering the sunset. Yep, that's how fast my needles flash. Like Zorro, me, just shorter (needles, that is).
  • I generally prefer the look cross-stitch and embroidery (more delicate), but a needlepoint cushion is very nice - adds a touch of prettyness and homeyness to a room. I also can't say anything against something done with more skill and patience than I would ever have. Crocheting granny squares is about as complicated as I can handle.
